Chapter 3

SOFTWARE INSTALLATION

3.1 Overview

This chapter describes how to install and configure the Raptor

DL-Lite Drivers software.

The software is provided on CD-ROM or by FTP and is

composed of the following packages:

• TSIrdlt Device drivers for the Raptor DL-Lite

• TSIrdltw OpenWindows Software

• TSImox MOX binaries and libraries

3.2 Requirements

The following are prerequisites for installing the Raptor DL-Lite

Drivers for Solaris Software:

• The system is running Solaris 7 or higher.

• OpenWindows Version 3.7 or higher has already been

installed on the system. This is typically bundled with the

OS.

• At least 2MB of disk space is available in /usr and /.

• The Raptor DL-Lite card is presently installed in the

workstation.
