14. Launch the Terminal Application/Window and, as super user, change directories to /usr/bin for

X.Org versions newer than 7 or /usr/X11R6/bin for X.Org versions older than 7 and type one of

the following commands:

For single screen mode type:

prompt# aticonfig --initial

For dual screen mode type:

prompt# aticonfig --initial=dual-head

‘aticonfig’ fails to work refer to the ‘aticonfig’ help by typing the command:

‘aticonfig –help’

15. Reboot the system.
